Climate cafés are safe spaces for young people to connect, collaborate, and build community. Although climate cafés are not a new concept, Force of Nature launched the first global and youth-led initiative in 2022, in the run-up to COP27, and since supported 190+ climate cafés in 49 countries.
This year, we’re doing it again! The hope is to unite hundreds of climate cafés around the world to show decision-makers in Dubai what leadership can look like when we collaborate from the grassroots: in cafeterias, schools, offices, places of worship, community centres and more. Global Climate Cafés will enable local action while connecting an international community.
Here you will find a list of climate cafés happening all over the world, that are open for you to attend. If you have any questions about a café, please reach out to the organiser via email.
Note: Not all climate cafés are open to the public, some people may choose to host one with friends, community groups, family etc. Therefore this is not a complete list of all cafés.

Force of Nature has produced a free and accessible ‘How to host a climate café guide’ that draws on years of experience leading eco-anxiety research and facilitating climate conversations. It provides a step-by-step process for hosting and facilitating; from choosing a location to deciding who to invite. All you need to do is express your interest in hosting a climate café by
A climate café is simply a community-organised space for people to have open conversations about the climate crisis (including how it makes them feel). There are many ways to run a climate café, from a small group of friends gathered in a park to a large community gathering at a place of worship.
Every climate café is different; some might include unstructured discussions, while others could feature events and workshops. No two climate cafés look the same, yet they should all feel safe, open and accessible.
